Our next show this May

Set in a town in northern England, the play revolves around the life of Little Voice, a painfully shy young woman who possesses an extraordinary talent: she can flawlessly mimic the singing voices of iconic divas like Judy GarlandMarilyn Monroe, and Shirley Bassey. However, her reclusive nature keeps her hidden away in her late father’s cluttered home, where she seeks solace in her deceased father’s extensive collection of vinyl records.

Mari Hoff, Little Voice’s brash and self-absorbed mother, dreams of escaping her mundane life by finding a wealthy suitor. Mari’s latest boyfriend, Ray Say, a small-time talent agent, discovers Little Voice’s remarkable gift and sees an opportunity to exploit it. He pushes her onto the stage, hoping to turn her into a star and make a quick buck.

As Little Voice reluctantly steps into the spotlight, her world collides with the glitzy, cutthroat entertainment industry. The play delves into themes of fame, family dynamics, and the struggle to find one’s voice—both literally and metaphorically.

With humor, heartache, and a touch of magic, “The Rise and Fall of Little Voice” explores the highs and lows of pursuing dreams, the complexities of relationships, and the power of self-discovery.

Following on from the success of The Great Gatsby, this production is sure to delight audiences this March. Be sure to book your tickets early so you don’t miss out.
