Quartet rehearsals

Things were shaping up well at the Community Centre last night.

Characters were being discussed, sound effects were being trialled, costumes tried on and the rehearsals look to be shaping up very nicely indeed.

As a group, we are all very excited about this production. With Andrew Knight at the helm, you know you are going to be in safe hands and that he will be delivering a polished show with great attention to detail, yet not afraid to push the boundaries where he can.

The script is an engaging tale of a group of retired opera singers living together in a retirement home and preparing for an annual concert. When an old flame of one of the group appears, their otherwise orderly lives are sent into dissaray and plans for the concert look to be on tenuous ground.

Will Cissy remember her lines (and remember she is not in Karachi any more)? Will Wilf get his way with any of the ladies? Will Jean take part in the concert? And will Reggie get his marmalade?

Book your tickets now to find out!

Quartet by Ronald Harwood will be performed from the 8th – 10th March 2018.
